The nose is the most important organ located in the exact center of the face. Traditional breaking and filing methods used in nasal surgeries have now been replaced by advanced technology known as Piezo Rhinoplasty. This technology shapes nasal bones using ultrasonic sound waves.
Advantages of the Piezo Method
Ultrasonic sound waves are programmed to affect only bone tissue. Therefore, cartilages, blood vessels, and nerves are not damaged during the operation. This leads to significantly less swelling and bruising, allowing for milimetric precision.
Recovery Process
Breathable silicone splints are placed inside the nose after surgery. Splints are usually removed on the 7th day. Complete healing and the final shape of the nose may take between 6 months and 1 year.
